Musings from Necker Island

Over the past week I’ve had the absolute privilege of being on Necker Island!

Yep, I got to hang out with Sir Richard Branson himself, build friendships with some incredible business women from around the world and give myself space to dream, plan and accelerate my business and personal growth.

So today I wanted to share with you 3 of my key taxiways and apply a video twist with the intent to inspire you into your next level of video creation.

1️⃣ If you keep your eyes open, you’ll see opportunities where you can do it better than other people

Yep, you don’t need to reinvent the wheel - you simply need to make the experience better than your competitors.

There’s no better way to do this than through the connection of video. Build trust, confidence and interest in your brand or product by showcasing it with video.

2️⃣ Don’t get bogged down with minute details

How many times have you talked yourself out of hitting the record button because something wasn’t quite right… it’s time to say goodbye to perfection and hello to taking action. 

In other words, done is better than perfect. 

3️⃣ Surround yourself with people that will lift you up and support your vision

You can’t do everything yourself, and nor should you. Fill your support circle with people who have the skills, knowledge and expertise that you need to take your business further.
