How to make new friends as an adult!

If you've been following me for a while, you'll know that I'm a champagne loving, post-it note using, hair-free alopecian with a huge page for pink, wearing Camilla's and living life.

I'm outgoing, I'll happily have a chat with anyone and the door to my home is always open (quite literally!). I like being around people - connection with other humans lights me up and fuels my fire.

So you can imagine the ickiness I started to feel when the country town we'd just moved to was described to me as being a little bit "cliquey" and not overly welcoming to newcomers...

I sat on the feeling for a while, and Then a HUGE realisation hit me - "I can't be alone in feeling this way!"

I decided that...

• I'm not the only one who's ever moved to a new town (or country) and had to make friends as an adult,
• I'm not the only one who's got a few quirks and lot's of energy, and
• I can't be the only one wanting connection and conversation with like-minded women who'll light my soul up!

So, I pondered on it a little bit (naturally over a glass of wine) and decided that I needed to build something that solved this for every woman.

Something that gave a real sense of community, something that celebrated the uniquenesses of the women inside and something that would bring joy and connection amongst it's members.

And so, The Champagne Lounge was born.

A digital community and online cheer squad for women embracing their uniqueness, celebrating themselves and craving more joy and connection.

Yep, just like that I created a movement to give every woman around the world a cheer squad. A community of women that dream as big as you do. Who want to have ore, who want to do more and who want someone to give them a f**king high-five when they make it a reality.
